The Skynetronics team is pleased to announce a new release of Netronics Voice Dictation software. This update brings powerful features, improved stability, and essential fixes to make your experience smoother and more efficient.
The highlight of this release is the new Whisper transcription integration. Users can now download and manage Whisper models directly within the app, simplifying the transcription process. With the addition of the F3 shortcut, switching between Whisper models is now just a push of a button away. Our improved error handler ensures smooth transitions between transcription services, reducing interruptions when loading models.

Enhanced features and security updates

We’ve enhanced error handling around audio streams for a more stable experience. User settings have been fixed, offering a more secure format. Although you’ll need to move your current settings all at once, this change enhances the security of your preferences and APIs. Plus, we’ve improved the recorder to filter out audio, giving you clearer, more accurate transcription.

Issues resolved

This release addresses some persistent issues: recording times are now reset correctly, audio streaming crashes are resolved, and Whisper model loading errors are now better managed, increasing the reliability of the app.
